The primary reason for creating SixFiguresUnder.com was to have a place to document our family’s journey to be debt-free.  We enjoy sharing the ways we simplify life and cut expenses.  We appreciate being held accountable, even by people we haven’t met!  We love hearing from readers about their own journeys.  We love having a place where we can encourage one another in our financial goals.

If you have  been around here for any length of time a while, you know that we are doing what we can to reduce our spending and increase our income so we can pay off our student loans as soon as possible.  While we would never to anything to compromise our integrity, we do hope that advertisements and affiliate relationships will contribute a little something to our quest to demolish our debt.

We have been selective in the ads we allow on SixFiguresUnder.com.  For example, with our niche in personal finance, particularly debt, the advertisers would love to push their personal loans and payday loans to you.  Because the ads are inconsistent with our mission, we have chosen not to allow them, no matter how much they pay.

Some posts may contain referral or affiliate links.  When you either click on the link or make a purchase, we may get a small monetary benefit while the cost to you is not increased.  We only include affiliate links for companies or products we know and trust.  Anything we write about them is our own opinion and experience.  We sincerely appreciate your support of our site through these links.
