We are putting in extra effort to pay off my student loan, but every time I get (somewhat) ahead, they charge even more interest…I’m paying it off slowly, but how do I get past all the interest they’re charging me? We pay whatever we can every week, but it’s like they don’t WANT me to pay it off. What did you do?

    Hi,

I am a finance blogger and I’m looking to acquire more blogs to add to my portfolio.

I was wondering if you’d be interested in selling your (sixfiguresunder.com) blog? If so, please get back to me with your desired asking price or let me know if you’d like me to make an offer.

    Thanks for your time.

    Alan

    Hey Stephanie,

My name is Nathan Hoffman and I’m the Partnerships-Manager at FindMediaPartners

I’m emailing you regarding a Sponsored-Post or just a Short-Snippet we would like to publish on your Blog

We’re interested in Content-Partnerships with Premium Blogs in the Personal-Finance Niche.

The Content we offer is totally Non-Branded and Non-Promotional, Instead it’s tailored to your Blog & Needs.

It goes without saying – We’re paying for each Post & Link posted on your blog so it’s not a Free-Loading type of offer 🙂

NOTE – In case you don’t publish 3rd-Party Articles that’s totally fine, as we have alternative partnership options which might interest you.

For example we can just pick an existing phrase in some old post of yours from past years.

The Text-Link itself will be completely Natural & Unobtrusive – It will be a short 2 Words Snippet picked from within the post.

If you like – I can send you a Sample list of our Existing Blogging partners.

Please let me know if you’re interested and I’ll send you additional details about our offer.

Thank you for your Time & Consideration !

    Cheers,

    Nathan Hoffman

Oh, I discovered your site tonight and though I haven’t had time to read about all of it. Your story (of what I’ve read) is OUR story. My husband and I graduated in May with our Master’s degrees, like you, we have six figures in debt because of that venture. What an encouragement to see that you and your husband have set a goal that is obtainable, likely against the favor of those around them, and are set to accomplish what seems impossible. May God bless your efforts and reward your steadfastness. And I’ll definitely follow to see how it turns out.

I’m glad I came across this site today! I’m $130 in debt for a couple music degrees, which 17-year-old me didn’t know was a terrible decision. I’m trying to line myself up to make enough money and save enough money, and this site is certainly more helpful and encouraging than most sites about large student debt. I’m trying to diversify my skill set (I’m going to be doing a training program with Prudential, I’m getting a full-ride masters in piano pedagogy), but I know it’s still going to be really tough. I’m glad I found someone to look to as a guide in this scary situation.

Congrats on your full ride for piano! That’s exciting! Diversifying is also a great plan Scott. Dealing with large amounts of debt is tough, but nothing you can’t conquer. Attitude and motivation can carry you pretty far, especially when coupled with hard work and dedication. There’s so much you can learn in the process. Thanks for stopping by!

Whoops, I meant $130k. I wish I only had $310 to pay! Anyway, I’m trying to find other ways to gather resources and I started a GoFundMe account that offers lessons and future advertising in exchange for contributions. Do you know of any good strategies for getting my fund noticed?

I figured you missed a “K” in there! 🙂 I have never done anything with GoFundMe. I assume you’ve already spread the word to those in your social networks, other than that I don’t have any great tips. Best of luck!

Wow. I LOVE your website. My hubby and I got married at 21. I was still in school. He graduated debt free and helped me to do the same. We have zero debt, an emergency fund, are saving to buy our first house, and have established great mutual funds. We budget every single penny. It totally goes against my spend spend spend spirit but it’s saved us so much. We are always looking for ways to save more. Your site is going to be great to help us save even more and awesome when we have kiddos!

    Thanks so much.

Hi Rose! I’m glad you enjoyed my Earning on Etsy series. It sounds like you have some good ideas and experience. That’s fun that your husband has bees! Definitely give Etsy a try! You can start out with 40 free listings, so once you’ve decided on a name and what to sell go ahead and get started. Hopefully the series has everything you need to know, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
